Weekly Torah Commentary

EMOR (Leviticus 21:1-24:23)
Rabbi Steven Carr Reuben, Ph.D.

May is Mega Mitzvah Month at KI

Tikkun olam has long been at the core of KI’s mission. Throughout the year, our members are actively engaged in projects benefiting the environment, the homeless, the hungry, the infirm, and others less fortunate – and KI’s annual Mega Mitzvah Day has been our opportunity to join together as a community to help repair the world. We are excited to announce that this year KI will be expanding Mega Mitzvah Day to Mega Mitzvah Month by joining forces with Big Sunday and organizing other exciting activities throughout the month of May.

  My Path to K.I.

What led you to KI? What stops have you made along the way? All of us at KI have our own answers to those questions, and we’ll be exploring those answers in this new Web feature, “My Path to KI.”

We begin the series with a look at the events, beginning with a World War II hideaway in the Italian countryside that ultimately led Laura Kuper to KI.
